Meet the Aloysius Butler & Clark winter interns!
AB&C is kicking off the new year with a bright new group of interns. Each season we select interns to work in departments appropriate to their career paths. Guided by their mentors, they participate in real agency projects. (We all fetch our own coffee at AB&C.)
Marissa Cortese is a senior mass communication major and advertising and legal studies double minor at the University of Delaware. Her hometown is Franklin Lakes, New Jersey (yes, home of the Real Housewives of New Jersey, for all of the Bravo fans out there). She is the director of public relations for UDress Magazine, the on-campus fashion publication at UD. Marissa loves to travel, hike, read, and do arts and crafts projects in her spare time and can’t go a day without coffee or chocolate. She’s a welcome addition to our hyper-caffeinated public relations department this winter.
Chrissy Flynn earned an honors BA in communication with a minor in advertising from UD. She’s pursuing a master’s degree in communication. Chrissy’s professional focus involves using communication theory to identify the determinants of a target audience’s behavior to help develop marketing messages. She’ll be conducting research and assisting the account services department until the end of spring. In her spare time, Chrissy is the lead singer of a Delaware-based cover band.
Rachel Jamison, our creative department intern, is a senior mass communication major at the University of Delaware with minors in advertising and interactive media. She is a music industry enthusiast with career interests in design, branding and digital marketing. She also has a passion for fashion and organic lifestyles.
As part of the internship experience, we ask our interns to write a blog post about anything related to advertising that interests them, so stay tuned for a blog post from each of these honorary AB&C’ers!
