Samantha Oscar Recognized with Philly Ad Club Award

Samantha Oscar, marketing manager at Wilmington-based agency Aloysius Butler & Clark, was recently honored with the Philly Ad Club’s Movers and Shakers Award. This is the first year this honor has been givien to young professionals in the marketing communications industry, who are chosen by their peers based on passion, insight, experience and dedication to the profession. Oscar was honored with the award at the annual Movers and Shakers Pinnacle Award Honorees Luncheon on Tuesday, April 12.

“The fact that the Philly Ad Club is recognizing young professional shows their dedication to the next generation of marketing professionals,” says Oscar. “That kind of validation is so important to those of us in our early to mid-careers.”

With this award, the Philly Ad Club recognizes Oscar as a driven young professional who helps to set the pace for the future of the industry. At AB&C, Oscar has been instrumental in taking the agency to the forefront of social media while helping on the client side to strengthen clients’ content marketing strategies. She has sat on the Philly Ad Club 2.0 Leadership Team for the past two years and continues to work with other members to build the events and networking opportunities for this group.

Oscar is an alumna of Salisbury University and joined AB&C in 2013. Since then, she has continued to help develop the agency’s inbound tactics, which are aimed at targets in multiple industries. She became inbound certified in 2015.
