The Delaware Council on Gambling Problems Chooses AB&C for Public Awareness Campaign
The Delaware Council on Gambling Problems (DCGP) has selected Aloysius Butler & Clark, a full-service marketing communications agency, for a public awareness campaign that links Delawareans affected negatively by gambling with services provided by the DCGP. The agency will provide website development, public relations, social media, paid media and creative services.
“Our challenge is to connect Delawareans to the DCGP before gambling problems lead to financial ruin, legal problems, and loss of career and family,” explains Paul Pomeroy, managing partner and director of marketing at AB&C.
The mission of the DCGP is to raise awareness that problem gambling disorders are treatable and to facilitate the development of a network of services for problem gamblers and their families. Services provided by DCGP include person-to-person professional counseling, materials on problem gambling, a 24/7 helpline, an online chat line and a text number that are all free and confidential. Other services include education, training and presentations to many communities throughout the state.
