Aloysius Butler & Clark amasses 28 Healthcare Marketing awards

WILMINGTON, DE – AB&C, a full-service marketing communications agency, won a total of 28 awards between two prominent healthcare competitions. At the 30th annual Healthcare Marketing Report Health Advertising Awards, the agency received 19 awards. Also, the agency hoisted nine awards at the 2013 Aster Awards, judged by Marketing Healthcare Today.

The Healthcare Advertising Awards are evaluated by a national panel of judges. More than 4,000 entries from 268 agencies were judged on creativity, quality, message effectiveness, consumer appeal, graphic design and overall impact. Newark – The Christiana Hilton hosts the inaugural Delaware Humane Association “Yappy Hour Doggie Paddle Swim” at the Hilton Wilmington/Christiana on Sunday, September 30 from 1:00 to 4:00 PM.

Dogs of all ages, shapes and sizes are welcome to participate. The doggie swim takes place in the Hilton’s outdoor pool. Afternoon festivities include a best swimsuit contest (dogs only), raffle contests, and activities for canines and their humans. The Hilton’s award-winning culinary team will prepare and butler wholesome and delicious dog hors d’oeuvres.

St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Family Carnival

Bear, DE – After drawing more than 9,000 attendees, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Family Carnival concluded on Saturday July 21. This year marked the 24th anniversary of the traditional summer celebration at the Bear parish.

“Seton added some new entertainment and contests to this year’s carnival and the response was fantastic,” says Mark Quinn, a member of the carnival’s organizing committee. “Our volunteers make all the difference. We want a safe family environment at the Seton Carnival and our volunteers made that happen.” Braving some inclement weather, more than 125 volunteers each night donated their time during the six-day event, which raises money for St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church.

St. Anthony’s Italian Festival concludes colossal week

Wilmington, DE – The St. Anthony’s Italian Festival concluded on Sunday. This year marked the 38th anniversary of the “modern” Italian festival and more than 88 years of a traditional summer celebration at the parish. Despite losing one night to inclement weather, the festival drew more than 73,000 attendees, matching its 2011 total.
